James Blundellis a Stourbridge, UK based fine artist who works in a variety of mediums, depicting landscape, coastal and occasional city scenes. He takes inspiration from being outdoors and enjoying the countryside vistas.
Born in the West Midlands, England, James had an interest in art from a young age and attended a local art college taking courses in fine art and graphic design but was unable to pursue an artistic career at the time. He instead worked in the motor trade, then a professional role within the energy industry for over fourteen years, but always maintained his interest in art.
During the Covid-19 lockdown he rediscovered painting for pleasure & committed to make room for a permanent home studio space to be creative in. He decided that this was something he had passion for and wanted to pursue.
A change in circumstance gave him opportunity to indulge his interest and love for creating art, which gives him immense satisfaction. He is excited at reawakening his passion, eager to experiment with new techniques in watercolour and other mediums.
